Mr. LaFratta is a member of the Litigation Practice Group and Corporate and Business Law Practice Group. His practice involves all areas of employment law, including employment litigation, employment contracts and covenants not to compete, and employment law counseling and compliance issues. The majority of his practice is before federal and state courts and alternative dispute forums. Mr. LaFratta has extensive experience handling appeals on the state and federal level. He also defends management against charges filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and related state agencies. Mr. LaFratta previously clerked for the Illinois Appellate Court and during law school he served as the managing editor of The Elder Law Journal.
