Patricia C. O'Brien received her undergraduate degree with high honors from Southern Illinois University in 1982 and her law degree from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) in 1985. She is admitted to the Bars of the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District. She has been engaged in the practice of law in DuPage County since 1985.

Ms. O'Brien's practice is concentrated in the areas of employee benefits and health law. She has had extensive experience in the retirement plan area representing clients ranging from individuals to large corporate trustees and administrators. She is currently a member of the Illinois State and DuPage County Bar Associations and WEB, Inc. an association of benefits professionals, where she was a long time member of the Chicago-West suburban chapter steering committee and has served as both Treasurer and Vice-President. She is a former member of the Corporate Law Committee of the DuPage County Bar Association. Ms. O'Brien and her family reside in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
