Sean M. Young focuses his practice on trust and estate planning as well as a variety of related financial and federal and state taxation matters.

Mr. Young hails from Cincinnati, Ohio, arriving in Chicago upon graduating from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2006.  He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati where he double-majored in Economics and Political Science.  Upon moving to Chicago he obtained his Masters of Laws in Taxation from The John Marshall Law School and joined a boutique estate planning and administration firm in the Oak Brook area.  He joined Huck Bouma's estate planning group in the Summer of 2010.

Mr. Young is an adjunct professor at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, where he teaches advanced federal taxation.  Prior to practicing law, Mr. Young spent time in the private banking, wealth management industry, where he worked with family office clients to develop asset maintenance and preservation strategies consistent with his clients short and long-term goals.  He has appeared before the U.S. Tax Court, authored several publications on sophisticated tax planning issues, and continues to volunteer his time as a practitioner with the Midwest Tax Clinic.  He is an avid golfer, musician and enjoys travel, particularly home to Cincinnati to visit with family and friends.
