Susan S. Adkins received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1988 from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. Ms Adkins received her J.D. Degree in 1991 from DePaul College of Law. She is admitted to the Illinois Bar and is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association. Ms. Adkins practices law in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, real estate and general corporate law. She has handled various facets of estate plan documentation, trust funding and administration. She also has experience in real estate transactions and development.

As a previous small business owner herself, Ms. Adkins has practical experience with the operation. After graduation from law school, Ms. Adkins worked as an associate attorney at the Law Office of Robert J. Ross until the end of 1993. At the same time she began managing a real estate development company in St. Charles, Illinois. In September of 1996, Ms. Adkins joined her husband in establishing their own law firm and she also became associated as of counsel with the estate and trust law firm of Huck & Brisske in Wheaton. In 2000 she joined Huck Bouma and resides with her family in Wheaton, Illinois.
