Biography

Maritza Gonzalez is a paralegal in the Estate and Trust Administration group. She joined Huck Bouma, PC December 2016, bringing a diverse legal and trust administration background. Maritza began working as a legal assistant at Prairie State Legal Services, a non-profit legal firm that provides free civil legal services to low-income individuals and seniors. While working at Prairie State, she finished her Bachelor of Arts degree at Northern Illinois University, majoring in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Law and Public Administration.

Maritza began her career in 2012 working at a community bank as a trust associate specializing in operations and administration of traditional trusts, estates, guardianships, and special needs trusts. Her primary focus is the administration of trusts and estates, guiding clients and their families through the administration process.

Maritza resides in St. Charles and enjoys coaching youth soccer. She is also an Outreach Coordinator for FIRST Robotics Team 2451 and travels with the team for competitions as much as she can.
