Biography
Kenneth ‘KC' Swanson is a Director in the Real Estate Practice Area, focusing his practice principally on commercial real estate transactions.
He has practiced real estate law for the past seventeen years and successfully closed on thousands of properties.
He has also effectively negotiated hundreds of short sale approvals on properties that could not qualify to be sold as traditional real estate transactions.
Most importantly, KC has had the opportunity to combine his consumer bankruptcy and debt settlement experience with his knowledge of real estate law.
His wide range of legal expertise has made him very skilled at dealing with almost any real estate transaction regardless of the financial or title related concerns.
KC attended Chicago's John Marshall Law School, graduating in the top 15% of his class, and has lived and worked in the Chicagoland area since 1998.
Being raised in a middle class family with a strong blue collar background and paying for all of his own educational and living expenses taught KC a great respect for the value of hard work and the money that is earned from it.
In his free time KC enjoys coaching, officiating and watching his 12 and 9 year old children play soccer, basketball and baseball. Additionally, KC enjoys running, boxing, any outdoor activity and traveling.
