Biography
Jacquelin "Jax" C. Leah is an Associate attorney in the Trusts and Estates Practice Group. She is a dedicated, client-focused attorney who concentrates her practice on advising individuals and families on estate planning objectives and asset protection strategies in addition to handling matters involving business services.
Jax comes to Huck Bouma from a northwest suburban high net worth estate planning firm, where she identified a passion for developing businesses and wealth that endure the test of time.
Jax graduated Magna Cum Laude from Creighton University School of Law. As a law student, she served as a research assistant to a Top 100 Tax Scholar and won the 2021 ABA Midwest Regional Arbitration Competition which involved a family business and contested estate.
Earlier in her career, Jax worked in Human Resources at World's Finest Chocolate and G2, which gave her a thorough understanding of corporate dynamics and compliance. She utilizes these skills to provide strategic insight to her clients.
When not in the office, Jax enjoys spending time with her husband and their two cats, Norman and Bartholomeow. She also volunteers her time with Special Olympics and is an avid baker.
