Biography
Rebecca (“Becky”) Chamberlin Little is a Director in Huck Bouma's Estate Planning Practice Group. She advises individuals, families, and business owners on estate planning, trust and estate administration, business succession planning, and related real estate matters. Ms. Little brings a unique perspective to her practice through her background in estate planning, taxation, accounting, and real estate.
Before joining Huck Bouma, Ms. Little maintained a private practice for more than a decade, where she helped clients navigate estate planning and administration matters, including the preparation of estate plans and tax returns, probate proceedings, and trust administration and contested trust mediation. She also advised small business owners on succession planning and entity matters and represented clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Little also developed extensive experience in the title insurance industry, serving in underwriting, examining, and title officer roles for residential and commercial transactions, and assisting with complex title and ownership issues. This experience complements her estate planning practice by providing a broader understanding of the real estate considerations that often accompany estate and succession planning and administration.
In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Little has served as an Adjunct Professor at Elmhurst University since 2017, where she teaches Business Law.
Becky has resided in Woodridge with her husband, Tim, since 2009. Becky and Tim met while they both worked at Walt Disney World in the mid-90s, and have two adult children. Becky enjoys crocheting complex mandala blankets, junk journaling, and traveling (often by Amtrak) to see live music with Tim and their kids whenever possible.
