Huck Bouma, PC is proud to announce that on September 23, 2025, our very own Aaron Ruswick, Attorney and Shareholder, was a featured speaker to a large audience from across the Midwest for an Investment Advisor’s Conference at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
Aaron’s presentation, titled “Covering all the Bases: Smart Estate & Tax Strategies | Strategies for Building Tax-Efficient Legacies,” covered the fundamentals of estate planning, including wills, trusts, and other key structures. He also shared valuable insights on several other important topics:
- How to efficiently pass wealth to the next generation
- How to control an estate post-death to ensure wealth is used according to their wishes
- How to protect an estate from in-laws (divorce) or creditors
Aaron E. Ruswick is a Shareholder at Huck Bouma PC, where his practice focuses in business services, mergers and acquisitions, and trusts and estates. His work includes business planning, tax matters, estate and gift planning, business succession, and resolving business disputes.
Beyond his practice, he is a recognized leader in the legal and accounting communities. He was named 2021 Lawyer of the Year by the DuPage County Bar Association (DCBA), where he also serves as Secretary and Treasurer. Additionally, he is the President of the Fox Valley Chapter of the Illinois CPA Society, where he organizes educational events for thousands of professionals each year.
